When did you do your tour of duty?

2013-2014

What are you doing now?

Helping design and build the IoT and IoT projects.

What would someone be surprised to know about you?

I flew a plane over Pike's Peak upside down.
I was one of the first teenage hackers.
I worked on the Space Shuttle when I was in high school.

What are your biggest accomplishments to date?

Hmmm...
  - Helped build the Arpanet
  - Helped design IPv6
  - Created and standardized 6LoWPAN
  - Founded the IPSO Alliance
  - And of course, being a Round 2 Presidential Innovation Fellow!

What would you tell someone who is thinking of joining the PIF program?

DO IT.  Don't hesitate.
It was hardest that I've ever worked, but also the most rewarding. You can help fix American Government and make American lives better.

If you couldn't be a PIF, what would you want to be?

I enjoy being an inventor, computer scientist, entrepreneur, husband and dad.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you meet and what one question would you ask them?

Da Vinci - Where do your ideas come from?
Mozart - Where does the music come from?
Jefferson - Where did your ideas and concepts come from?

What do you do when you aren't changing the world?

Trying to find the purpose in our lives.
Wanting to see more of the world.
Trying to find a way to not work so hard and see the joys in the world and people.
Sometimes hiking, sometimes swimming and sometimes riding bikes.
