When did you do your tour of duty?

Back in 2014.

What are you doing now?

Helping people live healthier, longer and fuller lives - by leading a team at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation produce open data sets and visualizations on public health information.

What would someone be surprised to know about you?

I write poetry, used to train people, had an exhibit in London and was a personal shopper for affluent women. Surprise!!!

What is your biggest accomplishment to date?

Helping people reach their full potential.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of joining the PIF program?

Be Hungry. Check your ego at the door. Come prepared to work hard, to empower people, to be depressed, and to make a huge impact.

If you couldn't be a PIF, what would you want to be?

I would have continued being a family therapist for troubled companies that did not know where they went wrong and how to get to a better place.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you meet and what one question would you ask them?

Jeff Bezos. Question: Why aren't you solving the real problems of the world?

What do you do when you aren't changing the world?

Collect wigs at garage sales.
